After graduating Minnetonka High School and then Mankato State College with a degree in secondary education, I had the opportunity to spend most of three years in the Service. I was fortunate enough to work with a team of psychiatrists and psychologists in the Army and continued my interest in psychology at the University of California San Francisco while working as a licensed psych tech in Berkeley. While in Berkeley, I began helping my landlord rehab our 1913 vintage 4plex and got serioiusly sidetracked. I have been in an amorous relationship with old buildings ever since.
